Quran text — Tanzil

The Arabic text of the Quran (Uthmani) and the surah data come from Tanzil Project and are used unchanged under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0. You can follow updates to the text at tanzil.net/updates. The Turkish surah names were prepared for this app.

Arabic typeface — Amiri Quran

The Quran text is set in the Amiri Quran typeface by the Amiri Project. Copyright 2010-2022 The Amiri Project Authors. The typeface is used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1; the licence text is included in the app.

City data — GeoNames

City names, coordinates and time zones come from the GeoNames database and are used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) license. The data was selected and formatted for the app; the "İlçesi" (district) suffix was removed from district names.

Prayer time calculation

Solar position calculations are based on the equations in Jean Meeus, Astronomical Algorithms. The calculation structure is adapted from the MIT-licensed Adhan library:
